Goals
The DP-SIG seeks to
- Understand the terms and buzzwords in digital photography
- Learn what to look for in still and video digital cameras
- Learn techniques for viewing, modifying and organising images
- Race off to photographic excursions and meetings to practice and play with equipment!
Structure
The SIG has no fixed structure. Members interact via the DP-SIG electronic mailing list to share information, compare notes and organise gatherings. SIG members work with each other to help organise a particular event, or to represent requirements of the SIG to the committee.
Competitions
The most recent competition was 'open subject', won by TBA.
Each month we run a photo competition and choose a winner. Entries have to be sent to our DPSIG mailing list which you can join from our 'email groups' page. You can see our past competitions below.
